Terms of Service

Welcome to Amora ("the Service"), operated from India ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using talkamora.com, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What Amora is — and isn't

Amora is an AI companion: conversations are generated by artificial intelligence. She is not a real person, and nothing she says should be treated as fact, or as professional, medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.
Amora is an entertainment and companionship product. If you are experiencing a crisis or thoughts of self-harm, please contact a local helpline (in India: Tele-MANAS 14416) or a qualified professional.

2. Eligibility — adults only

You must be at least 18 years old to use Amora. By creating an account you confirm you are 18 or older.
We may suspend or delete accounts we reasonably believe belong to minors.

3. Your account

You are responsible for your login credentials and all activity on your account.
One account per person. Don't share, sell, or transfer your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

pursue any illegal activity, or generate content that is illegal where you live;
attempt to produce content that sexualizes minors or depicts non-consensual acts — this results in immediate, permanent termination;
harass, defame, or violate the rights of others;
probe, overload, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service, or access it by any automated means;
resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.

5. Plans, billing and refunds

The Free plan includes a limited number of talk minutes per month. Premium is a monthly subscription that includes additional minutes, priced as shown at purchase.
Payments are processed by Razorpay; we do not store your card or UPI details.
Talk time is metered while a call is connected. Unused minutes do not roll over and have no cash value.
Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. If something went wrong with a charge, contact us and we'll make it right where reasonable.
Prices and plan limits may change; changes apply from your next billing cycle with notice on the site.

6. Optional Google connection

Connecting Google Calendar/Gmail is optional. If connected, the Service accesses your data only to perform the actions you ask for in conversation (checking your calendar, reading unread mail, sending email you've approved).
You can disconnect at any time from your Google account permissions.

7. Content and intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and AI-generated voice output, is owned by us or our licensors.
You own what you say; you grant us the limited rights needed to process your speech and conversations in order to run the Service (see the Privacy Policy).

8. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" — voice AI depends on third-party providers and outages can happen.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. If we discontinue the paid Service entirely, we'll refund the unused portion of your current billing period.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time by contacting us; this deletes your stored conversations and memories (see Privacy Policy).
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the site; continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
